Apricot kernel oil is a vegetable oil extracted from the seed of the fruit of Prunus armeniaca (L.), belonging to Rosaceae family. Apricot kernel oil is basically composed of unsaturated acids, which are oleic acid and linoleic acid.  Its seed when crushed, releases an essential oil containing amygdalin, which has no smell. One of the great advantages of this oil is that it is suitable for all skin types.
